While it produced many strong players into the series, Hollywood was viewed as a predictable season and is frequently overlooked.

Season Summary[]
Twenty actors arrived on a beach in Hollywood to compete in a season of Survivor. The Film tribe was composed of Angelina Jolie, Anne Hathaway, Cameron Diaz, Harrison Ford, Johnny Depp, Julia Roberts, Liam Neeson, Marilyn Monroe, Nicolas Cage, and Will Smith. The Picture tribe consisted of Al Pacino, Bill Murray, Clint Eastwood, Emma Watson, Jennifer Lawrence, Jodie Foster, Kristen Stewart, Leonard DiCaprio, Scarlett Johansson, and Tom Hanks. On both tribes, age became a concern when the older members such as Al and Bill had trouble keeping up with their teammates. Still, Harrison and Johnny impressed the Film members with their physical abilities while Clint took leadership over Picture. When Picture lost the Immunity challenge, it became apparent that Emma was struggling both in challenges and around camp. The team spared Bill and voted her off. Soon, Julia found a new advantage hidden around camp. It gave her the chance to cast two votes at a Tribal Council.
At an early double Tribal Council, Johnny and Kristen won individual Immunity on their tribes. Being rubbed the wrong way by Harrison's leadership, Johnny pulled Angelina, Anne, and Marilyn into targeting him. Harrison, Liam, and Nicolas tried to take out Marilyn while Cameron and Julia failed an attempted blindside on the physically weak strategist Anne. Out of the loop, Will voted for Julia, who he didn't get along with. Harrison was voted out in a puzzling 4-3-2-1 vote. On Picture, the poor challenge performance left the votes between Scarlett and Tom. Leonardo tried to vote out Scarlett, but everyone else voted Tom. Will's confusion with his tribe's dynamic caused him to lash out, but Liam and Nicolas were the targets of the new all-girls alliance, which Anne reluctantly supported through her mistrusting of Cameron and Julia. Regardless, they voted out the weaker Nicolas after they lost.
Film went on a winning streak and the mostly unified Picture tribe had to vote somebody out. Bill seemed to be the target, but Clint and Leonardo wanted to give him a chance. They went after weak link Jodie, which made the girls band together to target Clint. Jennifer and Kristen tried to save their friend, but Jodie was eliminated when Scarlett flipped on her. Jennifer and Kristen then exploded on their former ally. However, they quickly made up when they realized Leonardo was the real threat calling the shots. They brought in Al and went after him, but he and Clint made a last ditch effort to turn the tides against Scarlett. It failed and Leonardo was eliminated. Clint would be spared when a tribe swap occurred and switched the tribe members around.
The new Film contained Anne, Clint, Johnny, Julia, Kristen, Liam, and Marilyn. The new Picture had Al, Angelina, Bill, Cameron, Jennifer, Scarlett, and Will. All girls alliances formed on both tribes and when Film lost, Clint, Johnny, and Liam were forced to band together. They went after Julia, who seemed more leaderlike than Anne, Kristen, or Marilyn, but Liam was voted off when Julia used her double vote against him, though it turned out she did not need to. When Picture lost, the tribe eliminated Bill with only Al voting to keep him. Soon after, the final twelve contestants merged into the "Star" tribe, named by the women. Al, Clint, Johnny, and Will were on the bottom with Angelina, Anne, Cameron, Jennifer, Julia, Kristen, Marilyn, and Scarlett forming the "Superstar" alliance. Clint and Angelina won individual Immunities, so the Superstars targeted Al, who seemed to be the second smartest male. Still, Clint convinced Scarlett to flip while Johnny utilized Anne's hatred of Cameron and Julia. Hearing about this planned potential blindside, Kristen and Marilyn did not want to miss out on the chance to shake up the game, so they also flipped and eliminated Cameron. The angry Angelina, Jennifer, and Julia were quickly left as the only true remaining Superstar members.
With Angelina immune, the girls came back together to try and make amends. They resumed their campaign against Al while Scarlett convinced Johnny and Clint to tag along for the sake of future loyalty. Al stuck to voting Julia while Will was convinced by Scarlett to vote for Anne, shaking things up. Al was eliminated, but tensions rose from the stray Anne vote. Marilyn won Immunity while Anne and Kristen plotted to blindside Scarlett, who could not be trusted. When Julia heard about this, it caused an uproar in the entire alliance. The duo's target shifted to her, but everyone else found Kristen to be the most disloyal and voted her out. The women were able to patch things up and turn the men against one another. Scarlett then won Immunity and Will failed to put the target on Clint, being voted out due to his unpredictability.
Johnny won Immunity and pushed Anne and Scarlett to make a move. Viewing Angelina as growing too powerful, they banded together with the other girls to take her out. She made one last stab at Anne before her elimination. Jennifer won the next Immunity as she and Marilyn aligned with Clint and Johnny to turn the tables against Anne. Scarlett flipped back to her allies to vote Johnny with Anne and Julia, but Anne was voted off. With everyone after each other's throat, Jennifer won a necessary Immunity before she and Marilyn tried to take down Julia. Viewing Marilyn as more likely to win the game, everyone else voted her. Clint, Jennifer, Johnny, Julia, and Scarlett were left as the only ones remaining in the season finale.
Clint won Immunity as everyone seized the opportunity to eliminate Julia, the most strategic player. Jennifer won the Final Immunity Challenge, so it then became a discussion between Clint or Johnny, one of which would most certainly win. Feeling Johnny could easily sway the Jury, the others voted him out. Clint, Jennifer, and Scarlett were left as the final three. On the final day, they faced the Jury at Final Tribal Council. Jennifer was ignored by the Jury due to her invisibility throughout the season and "coattail riding." Clint was seen as brash, but appreciated as a strategic underdog and camp leader. Scarlett was criticized for her inconsistent flipping, but praised for actually making moves against a dominant alliance. Jennifer did not receive any votes, landing in the third place spot. The votes were read on live television several months later where Clint was declared the Sole Survivor in a 5-4 vote.
